Jerome,
I just downloaded the latest copy of Hatari from Mercurial. The NIB files contain both the designable.nib and keyedobjects.nib files. I was able to run Hatari using both the English and French translations.
Thomas,
As Jerome mentioned, we cannot edit the files within the NIB file by hand. On Mercurial, you see the NIB file as a directory. On the Mac, it is seen as a single file unless you right-click on the package and select “Show Package Contents”. I do not know the command to compile the XIB file into a NIB file. I have some notes on it, but I am not sure they ever worked.
