You also made a change to joystick handling ... and Closure no longer crashes on my 10.6.8 machine ;) That callstack was really enough then :)

Anyway, here's macOS RC2 - with the audio fix as well (I assume, just built it from latest HEAD)

I applied some changes to handle start==end for both repeat cases.

I now have the same results under Hatari as the one you reported on your STE (ie no "end of frame interrupt" and no sound when repeat=off)
