The correct value should be taken from be the exact point where the decision is made on whether to display 263* or 313** (or 501***) lines next screen. I have a good idea on which it is but haven't done proper verification. It's sometime during the VSYNC pulse ;)

Yes, it's possible to add it, I will have a look at this.

In that case we will display the freq that is used at the start of each VBL ; hopefully this will be the "main" freq for the screen, but some demo can have some delayed switches where 60 Hz would be on hbl 0 but changed just after, which could fool the value to display.
