It happens in both ST and STe mode. And it happens in both Protracker ST and STe.

do you have a link to download this version ?

Do you run in STF or STE mode ? It's quite possible the program was tested only on STF or with a specific wake up state and it would not work correctly on STE due to using too strict timings to remove bottom border.
