I'd like to suggest to make the UI more consistent. Personally I find
the layout of the CPU options more appealing than the one of the system
options.

That's a good point. All the dialogs group things into boxes,
except disk dialogs, and the new system one. Even in the original
system dialog, items were originally ordered vertically, and
they were grouped boxed...

I did not see that you kept the blitter option and renamed it to “Blitter in ST mode”. I will see if I can change the NIB file.

Thomas,

I changed the English and French NIB files to remove the blitter and RTC checkboxes. I also corrected the “compatible but slower” checkbox in the FPU section of the System tab. I did this by looking at the older NIB file and determined that a Control-Return had been entered between the words “compatible” and “but”. This eliminates the problem where the text was cut off in the dialog box.

If you are interested in my updates to the English and French NIB files, you can find them here:

The English NIB file looks good to me, but someone else will probably want to review the work as well.

Jerome,

Thank you for making the changes to the OS X GUI.

Thanks Jerome.

About the RTC Clock tick: I'm not sur to understand what it should be.
Enabled by default for some system but cannot be changed ? Enabled to
change state for some system ? SDL Gui do not have this option anymore
isn'it ?

The RTC option should now be removed completely. The RTC is part of the
machine type now (i.e. ST did not have an RTC, Mega-ST had one, STE did
not have one, Mega-STE had one, ...), so please delete this from the OS
X GUI, too.

Thomas
