Well it is very strange. I think I have seen this in the past and it confused me, but not recently. I might try to see if I can force it to happen by following your instructions.

Doug, you spend too much time in Windows ;-) Nevertheless, I did wipe whole ".hatari" directory, did only one change and that's the path to TOS 2..06 ROM, reset, AltGr+Pause during memory check, 'disasm' and voila, DC.Ws here we are :)

I can't believe it works for you? Linux, 32-bit, nothing special, really.
