I (of course) fully agree with all that you said about how much redmine is great. But this very sentence is not exactly true. Redmine can only show a 'view' of a repository, but doesn't provide a real mercurial repository : you can't fork/clone/checkout a mercurial repository from redmine, it has to be somewhere else.
