While I'm not opposed to it, I don't think there's any need to give
the user an API to access a registry-like configuration system.
It might be useful to store Allegro configuration settings (e.g.,
default joystick device, OpenGL vs Direct3D) in the registry, if a
configuration application is supplied. But even that, I don't think is
all that important to do.
