A try with tazlito-3.3 and xz compression gave me the same results as
the issue http://labs.slitaz.org/issues/356#note-3. So the boot and
unpack is OK with 572M or less RAM, but kernel bugs with 573M or more
RAM. Because my FS is 422M, it leaves little RAM (119M) for executing
programs and slim loops with try and failure. Ctl+Backspace gives a text
login screen which permits startx, and the system works very well.
So http://labs.slitaz.org/issues/356 is not solved by xz replacing lzma.
On more thing about tazlito-3.3,
http://labs.slitaz.org/issues/364#change-746 is supposed to be closed
after my suggestion but my experiment showed me a CPU at 50% not 100%.
