Now with Hatari v.2.3.1 and EmuTOS 1.0.1, both issues are solved.
EmuTOS 1.0.1 boots quickly, and the Falcon030 may have a FPU. That
means Vincent corrected EmuTOS, and Jérôme Vernet the macOS version
of Hatari. It seems some issues can affect only the macOS version ...
I have not changed anything recently in EmuTOS. But for sure, Roger
improved the IDE timeout in latest EmuTOS snapshots (after the 1.0.1
release), when no IDE drive is attached (only GEMDOS drive emulation).
BTW, as Eero suggested, you should consider using the Hatari
"--fast-boot on" option, as no one likes slow boot.
Happy Holidays with Hatari 2.3.1 and EmuTOS 1.0.1 !
For the slow boot, that doesn't really matters ... Do you know I
have very fast computers ? Falcon030, Hades060, and now latest
generation Macintosh machines. And it's booting really fast, indeed !
Best regards,
