Hiof course, the speed comparison should be made on a slow PC to ensure the difference can be spotted more easily (I have a rather old >10 years such PC, I will try to check this when I got more spare time)
Note that at one point, the old core will be dropped anyway. People who need this core due to too old machine will need to use an older version of Hatari (for now 2.2 still has the old core). Latest version are adding more and more accuracy, so there will be no point in trying to run Hatari 2.3 or more on such old PC if Hatari 2.3 would for example add better accuracy when emulating video at shifter level or 68030 in cycle exact mode.
