I think that would be too late. hdv_boot is used to check devices for an
executable root sector. That is not necessarily the same device where the
boot_dev partition is located. But i think TOS expects that code to change
boot_dev accordingly, so it would be a good place to hook this vector when you
want to override that. Except for EmuTOS of course: EmuTOS has its own driver
and therefore does not execute any boot code, and also not the hdv_boot
vector.
