linux-2.6.17-rt1 is new as of yesterday. My previous conversations

here were concerning linux-2.6.16-rt25 or so and getting that series
working with help from the kernel developers.

Hmmm... then I was probably thinking of a 2.6.17-rt release candidate, since I am sure I have had a 2.6.17 kernel running on my ~amd64 proaudio install for about a week now. Unless I am completely misremembering? If there were specific issues with -rt1, then I probably just missed them.

I'll probably try it out soon, anyway.
