Yeah, the rt-sources kernel has been working on AMD64 for a little while now, but it was definitely made functional thanks to conversations on this mailing list.
I hope that we all continue to do our part by reporting bugs and contributing knowledge. Linux audio software is making some huge improvements today, and many of them begin in places like this.
