And another thing i just noticed: without MIDI support, the Devices dialog in
the windows version looks like:
Without PortMidi, Hatari build fall backs to supporting direct (device)
file access, but that's not very useful on Windows.
With PortMidi, system MIDI devices are used instead of (device) file
paths. PortMidi is the only way to access MIDI devices on Mac and Windows.
(MIDI devices are easier for end-users to use than files as PortMidi
discovers them automatically. Whereas direct file access allows
additional use-cases like MIDI networking.)
