After some discussions on atari-forum, I think there are some
things that we could improve in documentation for the end users.
1. Add note with every build under http://antarctica.no/~hatari/:
---------------------------------------------------------------
This is automatic build from a commit in Hatari Mercurial repository.
The resulting binary is NOT tested, it's FOR testing.
Maybe also state that:
If you try it, send a note to <email address> whether it worked or not,
and on which specific OS version you tried it on.
<email address> could be e.g. hatari-users. Downside is that
somebody would need to accept non-subscriber mail.
---------------------------------------------------------------
2. Note in http://antarctica.no/~hatari/ root about on which
OSes the builds have been tested to work (and not to work)
and *when* that testing was done. Some kind of note about
who did the testing could also be useful.
1 and 2 done!
Great, thanks!
I think it would be good to have 1) added also to *each* of the build
directories at end of the build, in case user is given a link that
points directly into into a specific build (and he doesn't read
the docs higher in the hierarchy):
http://antarctica.no/~hatari/latest/windows/
http://antarctica.no/~hatari/latest/linux/
