those two are already quite large,  I think we sometime need much
smaller version, the smallest use case being the favicon I guess. As
an intermediate I imagine people linking to Eigen as we link to inria
and tuxfamily on the right sidebar of our web page.

yes, I think that a nearly square format (or circular) is more
appropriate to be put aside "eigen", or to make a favicon.
