I am interested in implementing the Subspace Iteration method(s) for
Sparse Symmetric GEP. I'm using for my PhD research. One advantage of
the Subspace Iteration (albeit being less popular than Krylov Subspace
methods) is it can deal with multiplicity of Eigenvalues.
