One additional note if I may :)

The top-left owl looks really _too_ silly :) I means it reminds me of Homer 
Simpson. I think that it could be corrected by reducing the dissymmetry 
between the two eyes. My fault really: I have been pointing to the TuxFactory 
icons as examples, and they do have that dyssymmetry. But I think that your 
idea with the hat-hanging-on-the-ear is _so good_ that it's no longer needed 
to make the eyes that dissymmetric, it's already funny enough without that.
