I committed it for iPhone and Mac OS X. There is a problem I noticed when
testing it that affects things before and after the patch, on OS X and I
assume iPhone also. Colors are way off from the values which are actually
stored in the PNG. It could be color profiles or gamma or something else.
I notice this because on Mac OS X my game uses sprites with magic pink
backgrounds and calls al_convert_mask_to_alpha on them. The pink stays,
and examining the output pixels shows they're WAY off at approximately
R220, G70, B250. I'm not sure what we can do about it but those two things
I mentioned are a starting point as to where to look.
