I have created the branches 5.0 and 5.1 from the 4.9 branch.
Alternatively I could have renamed 4.9 to 5.1 but I think it might have
some value leaving it in place: IIRC svn gives confusing errors when you
reference a path which no longer exists in the HEAD revision, even though
you know it existed in the historic revision that you are interested in.
