D3D needs something like that too. Maybe we can make a general API
for it. Also there's the stencil buffer which can be useful.

Yeah I figured some of this would apply to D3D too. But I can't tell what exactly. There is a stencil buffer in OpenGL too.

Oh and add multisampling setting to that list.
