Yep drop the patch. The hassle of applying the diff is greater than
that of downloading the 2MB (about 8 and a half minutes).

I think the increased number of bug reports came from writing about
the release in Gamedev and prompting users to upgrade. BTW, I'm
writing about this release right now.
