the mingw packages, that's a bit silly as you can download either the
complete dev-c++ distro or the dev-c++ gui and the mingw packages.
Well some of the packages need updating, I just don't know which ones :)
I tried building Allegro with the stock 4.01 release, but it didn't work.
Updating the packages fixed it. If the GUI can be dwnloaded seperately, then
all the better!
