man 2 uname shows:
CONFORMING TO
SVr4, SVID, POSIX, X/OPEN
So I assume it's ok. Committed.
Actually, is everyone ok with all this OS and version detection?
Seems just to be extra stuff that no one uses anyway (except to set
i_love_bill (I guess) and people who like to be told what OS they're
running...).
