thank you. I'll reach out to them with these details. The precision was worse before I updated the firmware to their latest release, so maybe I can push them a bit more.

The admin web page allowed a log export. It is using a TI AM335x SOC and I think it is TI's linux distro for that part. I've worked on that SOC before, maybe I need to offer them my services.  :-)

The server is claiming a precision of ~1ms here. That's bad.

The client uses the server precision as the minimum for its peer delay
and dispersion, so that's where that 1/2+1=1.5ms you see in the
sources report is coming from.

The specs on the vendor's site claim "HW time stamp", but I suspect
it's for PTP only. I don't see any specifications for NTP or PTP
accuracy there.
