Hi all,
Just a few words about the new Bug tracker aka TazBug. Yes we have now
our own bug tracker, Roundup was a pain to maintain, causing lots of
errors on Pangolin and not realy used by developers. So TazBug is oure
CGI/SHell, clean, simple, with packages integration and will have full
Hg integration in time. It also has desktop integration, so you can
post bugs and message directly from your desktop.
I wanted a first version for 4.0 and the client side is separated from
the server side, so all improvement we do in TazBug will benefit to
stable users also. Now I need some feedback before to go ahead and
code missing features. About Hg, we can have bug directly under Hg and
parser commit in wok so devs can update or close a bug via a commit.
With TazBug I also introduced SliTaz accounts, a centralized place so
we can share accounts between our home made sites. Pizza may get
user/login support, doc.slitaz.org may use TinyCM, cook.slitaz.org may
let logged users cook packages online. Actually your password is stored
in a flat file and crypted in md5 and you must use TazBug box to create
a new account.
No anyone motivated to code on TazBug/TinyCM and SliTaz accounts
security is welcome to join!
