3G only really needs usb_modeswitch, ppp and linux-dialup (to give
access to the option and cdc_acm modprobe modules)
This is the basic setup Puppy Linux uses and it automatically loads
usb_modeswitch and the option and cdc_acm modules at start up.
It also has dialer program that uses ppp with the ability to
select ports, set the APN and even do the pin step.
All that sakis3g is, is a complicated bash dialer script. Maybe if we
(correction, if I) figure out how the Puppy script does it, we can just
write our own dialer in ash with a yad interface. It should remove the
need for sakis3g, bash or wvdialer completely. That should save some
space ;)
