I don't have the big picture what's new. Once in a while I read some
news on the mailing list, some on the bug tracker and that's it.
And to be honest, I don't like to do the work. But here is my
suggestion: Let the pc do the work:
Use the entry of the bug tracker as news entry. Put a new header on
the website "Bugtracker", who show, say, the last 5 entries as
clickable links.
Use a script to refresh them once in a while and you have no extra
work to do and the user has some kind of "news".
