Hi
Just to add to the confusion.
1 - have a 'libre' flavor
2 - still only have one 'stable', but more 'cooking' ISOs. 6 - 9 months
between them is too long to wait.
3 - I don't really understand all of the chroot stuff? As long as the
package installs and runs OK with the right depends (does it matter on
how it's built).
