A manual update (well, via rpmbuild) to 1.9.90 has indeed fixed my problem on
FC16 with Firefox 17. I can now resize my Firefox windows again and the
maximize button is back. The rpmbuild process went completely smoothly so
updating the FC16 repository should be fairly simple I would think.
