I don't own the Saffire Pro 24 but a friend of mine does. I tried to
connect it once to my Gentoo-system running jack (I only had about 10
mins time since the show was about to start). Never got it running ...
Of course I admit that I didn't use FFADO before but the jack-crashing
can be solved:
Use the ffado live-ebuild (libffado-9999) and jack won't crash anymore
(maybe you need to re-emerge jack afterwards).
If you get it working, please tell me how :D
