The virtual may work.. I don't have a problem building the whole lv2
install.. (it's bigger but not huge"

is there an "official" solution to using the new LV2 package with ebuilds that still depend on lv2core?  or should we make local ebuilds that depend on lv2 for now until the ebuilds are updated in the overlay?
