so ,,, i'm wondering

in my environment, can i operate the arinc653 ??

for example

i compiled the arinc653_threads in example directory

and i received the message

Check Partitions Memory requirements..................................
NOT validated
Specified memory requirements are not correct. The size of partit
ion memory is wrong regarding the requirements of its tasks (Sour
ce_Code_Size property and so on)

Check that each virtual bus provides protection mechanisms............
NOT validated
You must define protection mechanisms for each virtual bus using
the Implemented_As property

Check that each partition is executed at least one time by the module.
NOT validated
Check that each virtual processor of each processor is listed in
the partitions slots allocation.

ARINC653 deployment files is NOT conform to XSD schema

(the rest check list is fine.)

ARINC653 deployment files is NOT conform to XSD schema

what is the meaning of this sentence ?

It means that the deployment file that is normally used by ARINC653 kernel vendors is not compliant against its XSD schema. But this is not a big issue because even the example of the XML deployment file provided by the ARINC653 standard is not compliant against its XSD definition ...

Also, the checks made by REAL (the FAILED checks) are only made at the model-level, meaning that it does not have any impact on the implementation.

but i can run other examples.

That is great !

so,,, what do i need to install for run the arinc653_thread ?

You probably need to understand first what is the ARINC653 standard and its different parts : the API, the deployment of the kernel, the services (required and optional, etc...).

Best,
