Yes that might be the case. Aranym also has some problems in JIT mode
rendering it. It does not give that error, but there are some glitches in the
generated image. Generally, unless povray uses explicit long doubles,
precision should not matter that much, as gcc only uses 64 bit double by
default. The error seems to indicate more than just rounding differences.


Maybe Toni will comment on this, I remember that on the EAB forum some users reported some differences between real amiga HW and WinUAE with a soft used to render fractals, but I don't remember if this was fixed in the end or considered to be a limitation of FPU emulation.
