No, it doesn't. But ikbd chip does not loose the time at the moment the reset occur, so it will keep it's value on reset. But gemdos doesn't read it backon boot, so you need to have your own program that will read ikdb date/time and set gemdos date/time.

Long time ago, I wrote a small boot program to do this for m own use, so date/time will survive on reset (but similar programs certainly exist somewhere else)
