You need to specify GEMDOS HD drive that doesn't override IDE partitions.
Easiest it's done with "--gemdos-drive <drive letter>" option.
After boot you also need to select "Install devices" from TOS4 desktop.

Can you zip everything [1] needed to reproduce the issue and send
