Hello

I just merged a devel branch I had from over a year (summer 2012) that
adds IPF support to the FDC emulation.

Have fun testing all of this :)

Interesting thing and surely another plus for Hatari!

How is the state for PASTI support, .stx files, as those are more
readily available in comparison?

Unfortunately, the state of PASTI is the same as before, that is close to nothing :(

I'd really like to have an external library I could use, but there's no such thing, and apart from some reverse engineering, there's a complete lack of documentation (as far as I know, Hxc author (the SD card floppy emulator) even stopped working on improving pasti support due to the lack of infos).

So, I don't know, maybe I will write an emulation layer for pasti from scratch, not very inspiring and quite time consuming, and I don't have that much time at the moment ...

While rewriting the fdc part in Hatari lately, I tried to be as close to the real HW as possible, so this would benefit to a pasti implementation as one part of the work is already done. But the big part is about decoding the pasti file and feeding the correct bytes in response to all the FDC commands, and this is quite a lot of work.
