If I may suggest an idea regarding the new name, it is only fair (after 
4 years of mainting (e)ledmac) to give some credit to yourself as 
maintainer and keep up with continuity in the same time. So, why don't 
you name it meledmac, where "m" stands for "Maïeul"?
