Yes, you are completely right.

Bignum libraries should be applied where it is appropriate, not for the tasks where

double or float is enough. For example, for the solution of special matrices with huge and rapidly

increasing coefficients (like binomial), I faced during construction of noise robust differentiators.

Double version of solver degraded very quickly as coefficients grow while

So, maybe it have sense to make unit tests specific for bignum applications.
