Hah... yes, I of course didn't mean merging on github (I never do it for 
my own projects hosted on github either, since I hate that useless merge 
commit). I wonder if we can prevent that somehow.

Still, I was under the impression that your mirror script force pushed 
to github, so I'm confused why you had to do anything to fix things...
