XCode 2.0 on a fresh OS X 10.4 installation.
Upgrading to 2.5 fixes the problem.

I noticed that too, but it could be that those images happen to have
sufficient red and blue/green of similar colors. I converted a
blue-dominant BMP file to PNG, and the PNG displayed the same errors
as the BMP.
