[AD] moving 4.3 branch to 4.9

Hi,

At Saturday's meeting we decided to rename the future 4.4 branch to 5.0
(i.e. reduce the requirements for releasing 5.0) and to rename the
corresponding development branch to 4.9.  The 4.3 name will be reused
for the development of a different 4.4 branch, which is for integrating
AllegroGL into the build system and not much else, as we wouldn't want
to expend too much effort on it.

The [idealised] genealogy would look like this:

  4.2 --+------------------------> 4.3.9 ---> ... ---> 4.4.0
        |
        +--> 4.3.0 ---> 4.3.1 ---> 4.9.2 ---> .......... ---> 5.0.0
            (4.9.0)    (4.9.1)

I am planning to move branches/4.3 to branches/4.9 in SVN in a couple of
days.  When we open the new 4.3 branch (whenever Milan or whoever is
ready), should it be called branches/4.3 or something else like
branches/4.3.9plus?

It'd also be interesting to hear from those not at the meeting.
