The environment variable (at least for MSVC Express) is called LIB. And
as you said, you also need to add the include directory to INCLUDE.
oh, i missed LIB, that solved it. thanks.
think the makefile.vc just presumes /[compiler path]/lib is where
the dx libs will be.
It assumes you've got the environment set up already.
now that i have it compiled, the /doc/build/ folder has been populated.
and i am able to read the /doc/build/msvc.txt
most of the problems that i had are documented in that file.
but the makefile, upon error, refers to it.. but its not built until
later in the build.
can these files exist pre build?
must they be built ?
