They're not, but in practice they work under X11 (fullscreen and windowed),
Windows (windowed mode) and MacOS X (fullscreen and windowed, I think).

Nope. If the RGBACursor extension is available on your X server (and
Allegro was compiled with it), Allegro will use that to draw full-colour
cursors.
Evert
