Front page is not mandatory (it's frontpage? in DTD). Chapters can
override front page (that's intended for (chapter) split outputs, but is
ignored by others).
My original idea was that each chapter has its own file with <chapter> as
document element. Documents (with <document> as document element) include
chapters as external entities. That means FAQ file is rendered from
faq-doc.xml which includes faq-chapter.xml which is also included in big
allegro-doc.xml.
why not just make everything start with a <document><chapter> combo?
You would have to guess which chapter is front page and which is not to be
able to render it correctly to some outputs (or omit it for others).
