Sorry, I just understood your question.
Yes, I am using Allegro in DOS. So, I am working with VESA.
Today I feel lucky enought to program my own blit function which use acceleration of my specific hardware.
To do this, I need to locate the blit function.
Could you please, tell me where the blit function (using in VESA) is ?

Are you using the DOS build of Allegro? If the chip is being detected
ans used as VESA, you'll get no hardware acceleration (because VESA
doesn't define any).
