Will the dxwindow.c be patched in the short run? The patch currently
writes the RC and RH files the way they are written (just as in the
dibsound test) and nobody has clearly hinted whether there will be a
patch for all // comments throughout the allegro source code for this
release. So, please respond ASAP to this.

Also, will it be possible to use an allegro/internal/alversion.h or
something? The current system is too inconsistent. For example, the
allegro DLL's rc file is separate from what's been used for the Unix
ports, and also the documentation and programs (thru the VERSION_STR
macro) Please tell me if there is an unified idea that occurs to you
guys regards this. (It is possible, for instance, to include a .h file
in a RC file and use the macros in a String table)
