I never meant to say to abandon DOS. I'm just saying let's go away from 
a DOS-centric development. We should do things thinking about modern 
OSes, and then backporting features to the DOS port where applicable, 
not the other way around like it was done in the past. And speaking 
about OpenGL, under DOS and BeOS there is Mesa...
