The 4.odd series is for development, where new functions are added and tested. It contains API backwards compatibility, but not necesarilly forward or ABI compatibility. The 4.even series is the stable one, where ABI compatibility is.

So it may be a good idea to turn off this section in the 4.3.x series
(or any WIP rather) and keep ABI section for stable releases alone. :)

The WIP releases are not meant for public consumption except for testing purposes. The WIP status alone should negate any ABI compatibility claims in the docs. :)
